My first post

This public record of my daily thoughts is something totally new for me and out of my comfort zone. I am a fairly private person and commenting publicly on my thoughts is something I have never done. I’d like to state from the start that I am a not a great writer and to whomever reads these posts forgive my poor narrative style.

A thought about the primary season

In this year of presidential election I am so tired of the never ending political rhetoric of this primary season. I was so pumped in early February with the Obama campaign and the opportunity it offered to America. I saw it as a way for America to embrace its cultural diversity and show to the world that it has turned a page on its past and that it embrace its future. Obama in my eyes stands as a symbol of the America of tomorrow, a multi cultural and multi racial progressive society. A country of brown people. However, the relentless bickering and nitpicking between the democratic candidates has dolled my interest in this race. The energy I felt as well as my interest in participating in this process by helping this candidate has slowly evaporated. Not because I am less supportive of him, but just because this process seems to have no end. Anyway I will be glad when it is over, but I will state that I don’t know whether I will support Hillary in the fall. I was a Bill Clinton supporter but after this campaign I am totally turned off by the Clinton political machine.
